"The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him;
and he will show them his covenant."
Psalm 25:14
"And it came to pass at the end of forty days and forty
nights, that the LORD gave me the two tables of stone, even
the tables of the covenant."
Deuteronomy 9: 11
The Ten Commandments are God's Covenant.
These laws tell us what God is like.
They are a "transcript" of His Holiness.
They have always been there as the
foundation of God's Throne.
They are eternal, unchangeable, righteous,
good and a "Law of Liberty" !
It is a fearful blindness,
that is upon the majority of professing Christians,
teaching that these wonderful precepts were all
"nailed to the cross" !
Dear Friends; Jesus was nailed to the cross
because,
God could not change His Law !
It was sin that slew the Precious Son of God ;
Your sin, and My sin !
If God could have changed His Law
then
The terrible suffering & death of Christ
was a mockery !
Jesus didn't change or do away with God's
Ten Divine Precepts. He tells us why He
came:
"Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the
prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil."
John 5: 17
To "fulfill" means to live according to
the instruction given !
Jesus also said:
"I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is
within my heart."
Psalm 40: 8
What country, what city, what business,
what home, can exist without some guidelines
as to what is and what is not allowed ?
How utterly foolish then to teach that:
"God did away with His Law
by nailing Jesus to the cross" !
My Professing Christian Friends;
Do You love Jesus Christ ?
Jesus says to me and to you:
"If you love me, Keep My Commandments"
John 14: 15
"Profession" is worthless
unless the actions reveal obedience !
Do know why we have a continual increase
of wickedness in the world ? It is because
many so - called preachers have been telling
their congregations and the world that :
"You can not keep God's law;
so don't even try" !
Is Jesus a "liar" ?
Shall we take the word's of Jesus,
or the word's of the :
FALSE SHEPHERDS !?
Jesus said:
"Go and sin no more"
John 8: 11
It is true; of ourselves we can not
obey God's Law, but God"s Word
assures us that we can:
"do all things through Christ
which strengtheth me "
Phillipians 4:13
Another Scripture that is powerful on this
point of obedience is Acts 5:32. All those
calling themselves "Christian" talk about
being under the power of the Holy Spirit;
but
The Bible says:
"And we are His witnesses of these things,
and so is also the Holy Ghost,
whom God hath given to them,
THAT OBEY HIM" !
O' Friends,
"Sin is the transgression of The Law"
and there isn't one person going to be
saved who is teaching that we do not
need to keep God's Law or that it is
impossible to do so, not one !
In the Sanctuary service which Christ
Himself established for the teaching of
His people in all ages, the dreadful nature
of sin and its results, were taught in very
graphic ceremonies and visible manifestations
of God's Presence.
As we look at the graphic replica of the
Ark Of The Covenant
above, we are reminded that above the
"Mercy Seat" between the two angels,
the power of God was constantly
visible as the priests went into the first
room in their daily ministrations.
Sometimes God manifested Himself so
powerfully that the priests could not
even enter the first room or "Holy Place" !
And only ONCE each year was the
High Priest allowed to enter the
"Most Holy Place"
on the
"Day of Atonement"
Friends, don't play games with God !
Nothing is hid from His Omniscient eye,
He knows and sees every thing that
transpires in His vast creation !
Never, never forget that:
and
Those who choose to sing & swing &
beat the drums with the devils,
will surely perish in the flames
of hell, prepared for the Devil
& all who wilfully break
ONE = All
of the
Ten Commandments.
